Ramesh Adhikari is a third-year PhD student and graduate research assistant under the supervision of Dr. Costas Busch in the School of Computer and Cyber Sciences department at Augusta University. His research focuses on blockchain, blockchain sharding, fog-cloud computing, distributed algorithms, and specifically on transaction scheduling problems in blockchain sharding.
Ramesh earned his master’s degree in Computer Engineering from Pokhara University, Nepal, and his bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from Tribhuvan University, Nepal. With four years of industry experience as a software engineer, he brings both academic expertise and practical knowledge to his work.
He also serves as an invited and external reviewer for several journals, including IEEE Transactions on Green Communications and Networking, Journal of Network and Computer Applications, and IEEE Transactions on Mobile Computing, as well as conferences such as Blockchain 2024, Blockchain 2023, PODC 2024, and SIROCCO 2024.
